Dr. Miranda Butler (she/her) is an Assistant Professor of English at Snow College, where she teaches Gothic literature and 19th-century British lit. She earned her Ph.D. from the University of California, Riverside, where she studied Victorian literature & culture, the History of Science and Science Fiction, and Gender & Sexuality studies. She previously taught at schools in California including UCR, CSULA, and Moreno Valley College.
Jillian Nusbaum (she/her) studied film and television at Arizona State University, and has worked for several award-winning shows and organizations, which include Zucker Productions and Netflix’s Grace and Frankie. She currently works in descriptive media services; previously, she spent a year hosting the YouTube channel Next Good Thing, which provides practical & encouraging advice for young adults dealing with anxiety, depression, and other mental health questions.
